Russian (русский язык) is a Slavic language primarily spoken in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. It is widely spoken in Ukraine, Latvia and Estonia and, to a lesser extent, the other countries of the former USSR.
